Combed by hand each spring from free-roaming herds at 3,000 m altitude. Nomadic herders rotate pastures seasonally to protect the grassland — the same way their families have for generations. Mongolia's harsh winters produce some of the finest natural fibers in the world: yak down and cashmere that is warmer, lighter, and softer than conventional wool.

The soft undercoat is shed naturally each spring. Herders collect it by gentle hand-combing — a painless process passed down through generations. The herds roam free year-round across open grassland. All products are designed, knitted, and finished in Mongolia.
